Personal data According to the EU

General Data Protection

Policy (GDPR) personal data is defined as: "Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person ("data subject"); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person".

How do we use your information?

This privacy notice provides general information on how FESTALUGA (FA) collects and uses your personal data. Whenever personal data is collected, we will inform you of the purpose for which it is collected and how it is processed.

Why does FA need to collect and store personal data?

In order to provide you with a certain service, we need to collect personal data for the sole purpose of providing that service. In any case, we are committed to ensuring that the information we collect and use is appropriate for that purpose and does not constitute an invasion of your privacy. With regard to being contacted for marketing purposes, the FA will contact you to obtain additional consent, should you have such a need and interest.

Specifically, Customers' personal data is processed because it is necessary for the conclusion and performance of contracts and/or the provision of services, the fulfilment of obligations legally imposed on the FA, the pursuit of the FA's legitimate interests or because consent
has been given. The data identified as mandatory is indispensable to the provision of the service by the FA. The omission or inaccuracy of this data or other information provided by the Customer is the Customer's sole responsibility.

The personal data provided by the Customer or generated by the use of the service will be processed and stored in computerised form and will be used by the FA for: customer management and service provision, accounting, tax and administrative management, litigation management, fraud detection, revenue protection and auditing, network and systems management, information security and physical security control, operator management and compliance with legal obligations.

Will the FA share your personal data with anyone? 

We may send your personal data to service providers contracted by the FA within the scope of the contract concluded with you. Any third party with whom we may share your data is obliged to keep it secure and use it only to perform the service on our behalf, and it will be destroyed on completion of that service and in accordance with FA procedures.



How will the FA use the personal data it collects?

The FA will process (collect, store and use) the information you provide in a manner compatible with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).  We will keep your information accurate and up-to-date for as long as is strictly necessary. The FA is obliged to retain information in accordance with the law, such as information required for tax purposes and audits. The length of time for which certain types of personal data must be kept may also be determined by specific business sector requirements and agreed practices. Personal data may be kept beyond these periods, depending on individual business needs.



What are the Client's rights?

The Customer is guaranteed the right to access, rectify, oppose, erase, limit and process their personal data. Exercise of these rights can be requested by calling 213970669 or by sending a written request to Avenida Infante Santo 361 A/B 1350-181 Lisboa, or to the e-mail address geral@festaluga.pt. Without prejudice to the possibility of complaining to the FA, the customer can submit a complaint directly to the supervisory authority: Comissão Nacional de Protecção de Dados.



Under what circumstances will the FA contact the customer?

Our aim is not to be intrusive, and we commit not to ask irrelevant or unnecessary questions. In addition, the information provided will be subject to strict measures and procedures to minimise the risk of unauthorised access or disclosure.



How can you find out what personal data the organisation holds about you?

At your request, the FA can confirm what information we hold and how it is processed.

How can you manage cookies?

  • Click on the "Tools" menu;
  • Select "Options";
  • Click on the "Privacy" icon in the top panel;
  • In the "Cookies" section, deactivate the "Accept cookies from websites" option;
  • Click "OK" to save the changes and close.

Settings in Chrome - Disabling cookies

  • Click on the Chrome menu in the browser toolbar.
  • Select Settings.
  • Click Show advanced settings.
  • In the "Privacy" section, click on the Content settings button.
  • Select the "Block websites from setting data" option.

You can change the following cookie settings in the "Cookies" section:

  • Delete cookiesBlock cookies by default
  • Allow cookies by default Keep cookies and website data by default until you exit the browser
  • Create exceptions for cookies from specific websites or domains.
